Nielsen shows that Facebook was the most used app in the U.S. during the last 30 days. Facebook was found to be the most active app among users 18-24 and 25-34, where it rack up an amazing 80% usage.
I guess you could look at numbers like that and whip up a frenzy about a dedicated Facebook Phone? But similar to the deep integration of Twitter in to the new Mac OS, I don’t get it.
The period of time between 2005 and 2015 will be known to me as the ‘Throw Stuff At A Wall And See What Sticks’ era of social/mobile/whatever Tech.
P.S. The author of this article referred to the 35-44 age bracket as ‘elderly.’ By those numbers, I’m already 5 years past my mid-life crisis.
